Impressions: Haruhi Suzumiya Poster autographed!

Hirano Aya, Chihara Minori, and Goto Yuko, the main seiyuus from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi anime series were on Anime Expo 2007 at the end of June in Long Beach, U.S.A..
It was a great experience for many fans of the series an a great opportunity to meet them. Unfortunately, I couldnt go at that time because well, I dont live in the U.S.A. and the time was so close that I couldnt even think about going there.

A friend of mine went to the convention so I asked her to see if she could get some souvenir from AX. I even dared to ask if she could get an autograph from “them”. At that time, I never thought it was possible since lots of people were going there and get the autographs from the SOS Brigade. I even read in anime blogs about the nightmare of getting autographs from them.

Surprise, Surprise, a couple of weeks later, I got the souvenirs from her, and what a pleasant surprise….I got an autographed poster from the three main actresses of Suzumiya Haruhi. My eyes couldnt believed it. My friend managed to get in the line to get the poster and also was in the SOS Brigade concert. I can imagine the scenario where they were doing the Hare Hare Yukai dance and singing the different songs of the series.

I also received some original pins from the series as well. I wanted to share this with our readers because it is a unique piece of anime history and I am pretty sure I am going to marquee the poster and hang it in the wall. I want to say a great thank you message to my good friend for this special gift. I hope she is reading this as well….Domo Arigato Gozaimasu Tif! Sure it took a bit to bring this story to Cartoon Leap. Also, I want to thank Mike from Anime Diet for the video journal of AX2007. His coverage of the event was awesome and help me appreciate more this gift.
