Evangelion 1.01: It`s pretty much the color of blood

Konnichiwa readers.
First of all, I want to apologize for not updating Cartoon Leap lately. I have been busy in the real world working and paying debts. I even work extra hours to pay the bills. First of all, as you read the title, you know what I am talking about, if you are an EVANGELION fan. Thats one of Kaji`s famous lines when he saw his NERV card.

Well, that was my thought when I saw the EVANGELION DVD I got today. Pure red indeed, as you can see in the photos.

The package itself contains the two dvds, a brochure, a couple of ad booklets, and the infamous film strip. The film strip is scenes from the movie. Many people wonders what scene they got when they bought the DVD. I saw many great film strips like the REI ones for example. Some others got boring scenes like toilets, buildings, explosions….Shame on Gainax for doing that stunt. Film strips where Rei appears or any other important characters like Misato has a great value on auctions sites and can have US$1000.00 price tags….Again, shame on Gainax…If you want to see more samples of the film strips, take a look here.

Now, if you wonder what scene I got….I was a little bit dissapointed. Below is the scene I got….

I cant complain too much since many people got worst stuff, like the props I mentioned before. Right now I feel a little bit tired to review the rest of the dvds, so I will post the rest of the review on later articles.
