Evangelion: Not another Ayanami clone…er…figure!

I found this news, thanks to Heisei Democracy. Alter is going to release a new Ayanami Rei figure. Its release date should be around October, 1/8 scale and a tag price of around 6,090 yens (depending on the current exchange, around 60.00 - 70.00 USD)

What really got my attention is that the pose is exactly the same as the below image. Image is credited to Shunji Kuzuki, and the sculpt was made by Numakura Toshiaki. October is really far, but it is enough time to save some money.

Yeah, I know that this news was already posted. Guess this post was a sorry excuse to share the nice image of Ayanami Rei….I think she looks hot right?

I found their review quite amusing, entertaining and very informative indeed. If this review does not help you think about buying this figure or not, I am not sure what else can do….Of course, there are great blogs that review figures, and I think this video review is a great way to check the goods in a different and closer way.

For me, probably I will not buy it because my budget is pretty tight now, but I think the rest will enjoy this figure. Thanks to the people at CollectionDX for this nice review. I will keep an eye on those reviews as well.
