Overflow´s Cross Days: Another nice boat?!

Their fates can be changed by his effort. Though it cannot expect whether the result is happy. Overflow is doing a sequel for their best selling titles, School days and Summer days. It is called Cross Days.

The slogan for the new game could sound a little bit spoilerish but guess thats all about. You can expect happy endings or tragical Nice Boats at the end. I am not sure about the name of the game itself…Why “Cross Days”? I ask. Probably the name refers to the fact that every one´s lives cross each other and each one will affect another´s fate. I think they could get a better name.

Overflow updated their site with new information about the Cross Days game. One of the most interesting updates are the character profiles. There are new characters besides the beloved Sekai, Kotonoha and the hated Makoto, resurrected again for this game. Even Nanami´s boyfriend appears. Who knows? Probably Makoto will try to hit on Nanami and his boyfriend will stab him.

I find the new characters very interesting and considering now that the cast is larger, there will be more endings. School Days has 22 different endings. The possibilities for the new game can be ENDLESS!

The website has another update worth of your attention. There is a DOWNLOAD section. The download file is an executable and it is around 25 megabytes.  It is called “Cross Days Checker” It is a limited demo of the game.  You need to change your windows regional settings to play it. I checked it out and it seems Overflow improved many of the animation and it seems Makoto is not going to be the only one dating. I really feel pump up after “playing” it.

I just hope Overflow deliver the goods the right way. I STILL can remember the horrible UPDATES for the School Days and Summer Days. I mean GIGA HUGE updates. Hope they dont mess it this time. I also hope they animate the game more. No more repetitions of the same frames but better animation. Overflow must and hope, they WILL surpass themselves with the new Cross Days.
