If you feel you dont have enough money to buy anime figures, there´s a cheaper way to have one and that is build it with paper! The technique is called PAPERCRAFT and you can read the meaning below:
Paper models, also called card models or papercraft, are models constructed mainly from sheets of heavy paper or card stock as a hobby. It may be considered a broad category that contains origami and card modelling, with origami being a paper model made from folding paper (without using glue), and card modelling as the making of scale models from sheets of card on which the parts were printed, usually in full colour, for one to cut out, fold, score and glue together. They appear to be generally more popular in Europe and Japan than in the United States.

Papercraft has become so sophisticated that you can build virtually anything. There is even a software that can help you build a papercraft model based on a real object. Amazing! I found one of those made in Japan called Pepakura Designer. Check the screenshots for the free viewer and the final results once you print the models and begin working with them:

I am really amazed by this stuff. If you are going to begin paper crafting, I recommend a good pair of scissors, Glue, LOTS of patience and countless hours!…But I must tell you, this seems to be a good hobby and there are lots of good models to begin with or even build one yourself. Your efforts will be rewarded so enjoy your Pepakura!

I love papercraft! It’s the sole reason I go to 4chan (for /po/)
However I’m terrible at making them… I guess I’ll need to get the heavy duty stuff out… (cardstock and wood glue)
Haha. I agree. I dont even have enough money to buy figures.
