Cross Days: The USB “experience”

I never imagined how far the producers of School Days / Cross Days will go to sell the product. They upgraded the graphics, the animation and now the way you can play the game too.

Presenting SOM, this is a USB gadget that you connect into your computer. With this SOM you can experience the real action that the characters do during the ERO scenes of the game. It come in VARIOUS “flavors”

The speed of the machine can vary depending on the scene.  When the action goes slow, it moves slow…you know the rest. Here is the device in action:

Now, this is something unheard. Of course there are steering wheels for racing cars games, there are the vibrator gamepads for the game consoles but an ero game that let the players experience the real thing with this device? I think this is the bottom of the abyss.

There`s a catch: The SOM is not included with the game. The ero maniac player must pay around ¥45,000 (or ¥25,000 for the Puchi SOM) if they want to experience the full thing. Personally, this is insane but guess there`s a niche in the market for this kind of things.

Hey, on a final note, players can add “other things” to experience the horror Makoto can feel during game play.  I suggest to call 911 or 119 (Japan) just in case they suffer side effects.

Visit the SOM`S official website / Cross Days official website for more information. Also Sankaku Complex and burucchi’s no kimochiis covered the news.
