This year has been an interesting one. It has been a mixed bag full of different news, good and bad ones. To review what happened thru the year especially in Japan, Yahoo! J published the list of the 20 most clicked stories from their visitors.

All data collected are from headlines that were displayed between November 1st, 2007 and October 31st, 2008 (Halloween!) It is interesting to see that most of the news unfortunately are death or suicide related, and the rest of it are entertainment news that includes weddings, embarrasing declarations etc.

Interesting.. stories.. I though that the Akihibara killing would rank higher though.. altho that may be the timing issue.

Probably it is…the number one news happened before the Akihabara incident limiting the clicks after the deadline.
