A King of Fighters without Mai Shiranui?…Blasphemy!
SNK Playmore has revealed the character list for the upcoming King of Fighters XII! The game is due out in April 2009 in arcades all over Japan and future release dates for PS3 and Xbox 360 still unknown.
The roster for KOF XII seems pretty small comparing it with the older KOF versions…and if you noticed it…There is no Mai Shiranui!…What SNK/PLAYMORE is thinking now?
For some reason I like this Mai Shiranui cosplay!
Mai is one of the goddesses of video games with big attributes and nice assets. She has been in cosplays, anime, merchandising, you name it…!
The new changes looks odd…even Athena Asamiya looks very different and not in a good way. There is still some time to correct this grave mistake with the console versions of KOF but only time will tell. I still need to play this game before I can do an objective review on this one but the only thing I know now is that KOF is not going to be the same anymore with this changes…

Actually, KoF 11 didn’t have Mai either. And yes, I thought it was a travesty then as well, but at least they put in B. Jeanet from Garou mark of the wolves…
But Chun Li will always reign supreme and KoF will always have Athena
