Bad news for Chun-Li fans! Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li has terrible reviews from film critics and public alike. According to Rotten Tomatoes site, the film has only 6% of approval from critics and 31% from the website`s registered members which means it is rotten. If you are a visitor of the famous Rotten Tomatoes website, you know what the figures means.  If the positive reviews make up 60% or more, the film is considered “fresh” in that a supermajority of the reviewers approve of the film…and 6% is way below that figure!

The general consensus about the movie, according to Rotten Tomatoes is that “The combination of a shallow plot and miscast performers renders Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li a perfectly forgettable video game adaptation.”

If you want to read the reviews in detail from the critics and the people, just visit the website. Some of the reviews are pretty clever and funny. Hollywood and Video game adaptations to film proves to be in most cases, a terrible mix and still the trend continues with this movie.  Let`s hope the Dragon Ball Evolution movie doesn`t get rotten but the hope is barely minimal!

Was there seriously any doubt about the film’s hideousness? Has there ever been a good Hollywood adaption of a video game?

Hahaha That’s pretty terrible, but I expected that. I surprised that the online readers had a significantly higher score as well.
