Cosplay Madness and Anime Conventions, Part 1
Last weekend, I had the chance of visiting an anime convention. The second this year. My aunt and cousins dragged me to this so I went this time for the sake of the Blog, and meet some friends and have fun.

Things that one can see in conventions around the place where I live are people selling anime goodies, Martial Arts students showing their abilities and lots of cosplays. There are some events like “Magic” tournaments, drawing contests, Karaoke, People playing Xbox or PS2, etc. Conventions are a nice place to meet friends, looking for that anime goodie you missed somewhere on the internet and probably spend a good afternoon during weekends.
I took my lousy camera and took some pictures and even shoot an amateur video with that crappy thing. Take a look at some of the cosplays I got with my camera. Just judge yourself and tell me what you think.

I couldn´t recognize some of the anime characters they were doing and other cosplays are from anime series that are from a distant memory. However, they were having fun and I really appreciate their talent and effort in doing such a nice job and letting people taking photographs on them.
The following video you are about to see is one that I took with my Camera. Wished I had a better one, but guess I will have to deal with it until I stop buying anime figures and saving money for a good one…Any reccomendation? I know Danny Choo is promoting a good one, but that will have to wait.
Again, I am sorry for the crappy resolution and noise (You better turn off the sound!) I couldnt edit the video with a nice background music or something due to my lack of time. You can see all the surroundings of the convention. Notice the plushies, the merchandising, cosplays and well, everything else. There was even a Sushi Stand.
This was the second convention I went this year and there are about a couple more to come. I want to thank the organizers for doing this conventions. Sure their resources are very limited, but they are doing a great effort and let´s hope the next ones will improve greatly. Even when this conventions looks to be the same thing every year, I never stop going to them in hopes of see something new and well, sharing some of the fun. See ya in Part II.
