Queen’s Blade Cosplay Event!

A Queen’s Blade Event was held on Akihabara this weekend. The event was held to promote the launch of the series and merchandising as well. People had fun playing game cards, taking photos on the cosplayers and DVD screenings of the series.
However, one thing that really got my attention was the Queen’s Blade Cosplayers. I had a real problem trying to digest what I saw and it was not a nice view. Just take a look at poor Nowa, Guardian of the forest. She is this nice young, little half-elf girl…but for the event, there were some obvious reasons to think the casting for the role was poorly chosen…unless they were trying a different approach.
Do you think the girls that cosplayed their 2d characters did a great job…or not? Personally, there were “some” cosplayers that did a great job. What is your opinion? Hit or Miss? For more High resolution images, visit this link…or this one as well!

Megami Magazine strikes back…for the 110th time!
Megami Magazine in its July edition is back with more girls…naturally. This time, the 110 issue brings us several girls from the new anime season!
Who are your favorites for this month? Mine´s are Yoko, K-ON girls, Saki and of course Haruhi!!!…but I must admit everyone looks great.

K-ON producers don´t lost any time and created this OP with the new girl in the block…Azusa! Now the group has 5 members and one has to wonder…if this a welcome addition? Today is Friday. It is unfortunate that Haruhi-chan is over. I miss the show. Since there is no more Haruhi-chan, I filled today´s slot with a Yuki Nagato Cosplay Gallery!
Yuki Nagato is admired by many otakus because of her background, personality and looks. She is also a target for many cosplayers that wants to capture her essence that attracts many fans. Surfing thru the internet, I found TONS of photos from cosplayers who tried to accomplish the Yuki look.
