King of Fighters Live Action Movie!

What´s wrong with Hollywood this days? It seems they ran out of creativity and they are looking somewhere else…like Japan for example. The next victim seems to be the well known King of Fighters franchise!
We’ve already met and pitied the cast and crew of The King of Fighters Movie. Now, let’s look and pity official promotional images.
Have faith! It is directed by Gordon Chan, who helmed the Jet Li martial arts classic Fist of Legend. This KOF movie doesn’t have Jet Li, but it does have Sean Faris (Pearl Harbor) as Kyo Kusanagi, Wii Yun Lee (Witchblade) as Iori Yagami, Ray Park (Darth Maul) as boss Rugal, Maggie Q (Live Free or Die Hard) as Mai, Françoise Yip (Rumble in the Bronx) as Chizuru and some other people we haven’t really heard of.
The movie version centers around “the pursuit of three artifacts that will grant their owner unlimited power over reality.”
It also looks like the King of Fighters movie will introduce a new science fiction spin into the setting established in the games’ universe by following the surviving members of three legendary fighting clans who are continually whisked away to other dimensions by an evil power. As the fighters enter each new world they battle that universe’s native defenders, while the force that brought them seeks to find a way to invade and infect our world.
The movie is scheduled for a 2010 release!
Hollywood never seems to get tired of doing this game to live action movie adaptations, even when most of them fails miserably at the box office. No offense with the people involved in this project, but there are better things to do out there…right?? There is a famous phrase somewhere that says: “God’s in His Heaven, All’s Right With the World”…Not everything is all right and I am afraid this is an example of it.

KING OF FIGHTERS AND TEKKEN WILL NOT BE SUCCESSFUL.
People always complain that movies based on video game suck but some of them were good with Mortal Kombat and Silent Hill Doom could have been better but that Chun Li movie should not have been made, now the King Of Fighters movie is on board is now in post production same with Tekken two of those movie will not be successful but it could be another failure
for both of them.
I don’t think that Tekken movie is going to be that good it set off that stupid futuristic storyline
the film will just like that Avenging Fist style,King Of Fighters this is a low budget live action movie so it will be a box office bomb.
Thank You.

Ugh. I see Ray Park here and I think, “How he mighty have fallen” — not that Ray Park was some sort of A-list actor, but having met him in person, he’s a pretty cool guy and I hate seeing him as he is in that promo image. *_*
