Haruhi Endless Eight…ENDS!

Finally, after 8 painful weeks, lots of yelling, creative posts, fan made parodies on Youtube and everything else…Endless Eight ENDS!…Mark your calendar folks because today is history!…Here are probably the MOST exciting frames!

The music for that scene was TOO dramatic in my humble opinion, BUT the moment was worth it.  I wasnt paying attention to the whole episode, except only the last minutes of it and it was clearly expected by EVERYONE. Endless Eight will be remembered for a long time and even when people loved it or hated it, it was a unique experience…A sigh of relief for everyone including Me, the fans, the cast, Kyoani and for Kyon!…

Now, lets hope Haruhi DISAPPEARS and soon!

Well, I understand people getting angry (including me, though I was just annoyed), but there are so many possible reasons why KyoAni did this and I doubt it was intentionally to make the fans mad…
My guess is that they didn’t want fillers, but they didn’t have the exact plot down right to fit a second season (or something similar).
I think giving up on the series because of one story is going too far, especially when the series is actually good (minus that story).
Obviously, the DVD sales deserve negligence (and the company deserves some kind of punishment for more than just Endless Eight), but I still watch in anticipation for the next new episode and possibly season. I don’t want the series going down the drain and losing a continuation because the fans threw a fit…

So now that it’s all over, let’s pick ourselves up and start loving the old Haruhi again.
I have to say that even though the story was the same, sometimes, the animation or visuals were still spectacular in each episode… so I give the company credit for keeping quality throughout most of the arc…
Just don’t do it again, KyoAni…

Wow. A company that excels in quality, but its marketing sucks. XD

Actually, Kyoani excels in quality and KADOKAWA´s marketing sucks!… :)

    To Juno:

It’s not that they didn’t have the material. I mean, c’mon, there’s tons of material in the novels! There’s the sighs of Suzumiya Haruhi, the Disapperance of Suzumiya Haruhi, the Intrigues of Suzumiya Haruhi, etc. It’s at least 8 novels!

There can be only one possible reason for them to air 8 episodes of Endless Eight: They were ordered to. I really hope they’re planning a third season. But knowing Kadokawa, it’s unlikely.

Things can get messy, and I have the feeling that all Haruhiists are buying their torches and pitchforks in case Disappearance doesn’t get animated this season.

    Juno Reply:

I know that. I own and have read all the novels so far. XD
But what I mean is that they could have planned for a certain amount of episodes this season (14 again), but still only planned a certain amount of stories to fill it without introducing new characters or twists too late at the end of the second season… and this is the idea they came up with to do so…

They have 5 episodes left to put everything back on track…
    Let’s see what they do…

The last episode dissapointingly seemed to have inferior animation and art than the previous episodes. For that I felt let down. It also would have been nice if it explained how the deja vus of things like Nagato sitting under a tree helped him think “list”
