Good Smile Company released a warning about Fake Saber Lily figures flooding the market. If you like to use auction sites or buy your japanese stuff in places unknown to the Otaku, beware, because you could be buying something with less quality and appeal you can expect from an original product.

To save you some money and frustration, here are some tips from the original masters of this lovely creation, Saber Lily…

FAKE1

The original box has all GSC Logos and “seal of quality” while the FAKE does not have them.

FAKE2

Original box has the hologram sticker, the other not!

FAKE3

The quality of the print is superior to the fake one!…Look at the vivid colors too!

FAKE4

The pin on Saber´s hand is clear while the fake one is black…you can see “clearly” the difference!

FAKE5

Look for Saber´s face and the angle. You can clearly see her eyes and face while the fake one has her face down…on shame!

FAKE6

Finally, the original figure has the logo on the base while the fake….not!

This was a social service from Good Smile Company via Akibatan. Hope you enjoy your genuine Saber Lily because We know some that are not careful will not enjoy the fake one! I am expecting mine soon and I am sure there will be no problems related with this because I know my sellers!

Blame swine flu fears or the fact that the show was scheduled on the tail-end of the “silver week” holidays, but attendance was down on Saturday, the first public day: 62,138 visitors compared to 71,639 in 2008.

and some disastrous comments by key players of the industry….

Once upon a time, the Tokyo Game Show was the biggest videogames event on the planet, a throbbing hive of amazing announcements, bustling demo pods and saucy cos-players. This year’s event has warranted only a handful of cursory mentions in the Western games press. “Man, Japan is over. We’re done. Our game industry is finished,” veteran Capcom game designer Keiji Inafune is quoted as saying on the show floor. A bleak prognosis, but sadly not an unreasonably alarmist one – Hideo Kojima made similar points at the start of the year.

Even with this “Apocalyptic” facts, people enjoyed the Tokyo Game Show and They tried some of the best games that will going to hit shelves soon. Sure the gaming industry has their ups and downs and 2009 was not the best year for them, but with some interesting game titles on their way, new game consoles, price cuts for our benefit and Japan´s contribution, the game can always continue.
