Haruhi Second Season Episode 23: An almost True Hollywood Story!

If Kyoto Animation did this second season to make fans hate Haruhi, They are doing a great job….especially for Mikuru chan fans!
They delivered not only 8 Endless Eight episodes but also brought us Sighs…An arc in which Haruhi shows her worst side and is a complete jerk. Even Kyon is not free of sin!…Well, nobody is free of that and no one is perfect and this episode show us how to love and hate Haruhi at the same time.
The episode begins exactly where it was left at the last episode. Tsuruya-san, Taniguchi, and Kunikida are in the movie and They are filming the scenes at the pond. The Mikuru beam was back for a brief time and Yuki stopped the disaster, but things get worst for Mikuru. First She was tossed at that dirty pond, then She gets “drunked” by Haruhi and Tsuruya-san for a certain scene and probably the last straw was the love kiss of Mikuru and Itsuki, Haruhi hitting Mikuru in the head with that Megaphone AND Haruhi’s infamous reply. The next images are probably the most disturbing thing you will ever see for this series. Parental Discretion advised!
Fortunately, Itsuki stopped Kyon for doing something stupid (It was really stupid right?) and at the end He decided to make up with Haruhi by telling her to keep on with the movie and try her best to make it a successful one….”Of course” says Haruhi!
I really loved Haruhi´s attempt to make up with Kyon in a subtle way.

The episode ends abruptly as usual and We will see a certain Neko next week. This episode was good and very dramatic. I must admit We had enough of Haruhi’s abuse and a test of patience for Kyon but there were questions in my mind like what if Itsuki was not there to stop Kyon and manage to punch Haruhi…What could have happen?

This episode was like something come from the E! True Hollywood story…Alcohol, Suffering, Murder Attempts…Everything while making a movie…Ah, the drama!

Anyway, if Kyon had successfully thrown a punch at Haruhi… it would have been very interesting. First of all, there’s the questions of whether that would trigger Haruhi’s powers, and if so, in what way? And if it didn’t trigger Haruhi’s powers, I’m honestly curious to know who would win the fight.
Whilst Haruhi definitely deserves to be run over with a truck, I still find her Mikuru abuse to be amongst her best moments.
Poor mikuru but i always love the kyon & haruhi conflict scenes, They are always so epic.
and i voted that shes a girl and shes cute. You never hit a girl if your a guy(girls hit each other all you want, Cat fights ftw ;P) no matter how much of a ***** they are being.
This serial should really be called the Jealousy of Haruhi. Abusing Mikuru chan because shes jealous that Kyon is attracted to her and acts like her white knight.
