Watching Anime through a keyhole!
Want to see Live TV from Japan…for free? There is one way called Keyhole TV. Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs developed this to testout P2P (peer to peer) technology. Basically, you can use this software to watch Japanese Television legally and for free. However, there are only a few channels available at the moment like Fuji TV, TV Asahi, TBS and TV Tokyo. There are also some radio stations as well.

Actual Size of Keyhole TV (Any idea what show it is on screen?)
I did some tests with the software and it is interesting. Keyhole TV is really that…You watch all your favorite TV Shows on this tiny window and the audio and video quality are not the best, but hey…it is Free!

There are few stations, but with decent programming, including Anime!
Last week, I watched some shows like Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and it was a cool experience. The only thing I really need to know is to figure out at what hour the channels broadcasts anime. They sure do it at a very late hour…after Midnight!
If you want to watch Anime and those funny Japanese TV shows and commercials, this is your chance! For detailed instructions on how to use Keyhole TV, visit Xorxist blog. The official website for Keyhole TV is here as well. Enjoy your free TV!
