Astroboy is Ambassador for Japan’s World Cup Bid!

After losing the chance to host the Olympics for 2016, Japan is now focusing their efforts in another important event, the World Cup. Japan is aiming for the 2018 edition and the interesting thing is that They choose Astroboy as goodwill ambassador.

We wonder if Astroboy will help Japan for the chance of being elected for the event. Depending on the bids, They could host the 2018 or the 2022 edition.  It is not the first time Anime characters are used for this kind of bids. Only time will tell. The election will be on January 2010!

Meanwhile, People can watch Astroboy in the new movie.

    While I am sure they have a chance in organizing it, I am also sure they dont have any chance winning it ^^ What a big head thou.
