Rebirth of Buddha Anime…Trashed??
Promotion for the anime movie called “Rebirth of Buddha” is moving forward, but it seems not everyone likes the campaign. Apparently, some girls in cosplay were promoting the movie by giving away some leaflets and DVD flyers…
Guess where most of those flyers end up…
I really feel sorry for them…I wonder if this anime is too controversial for most otakus to display this attitude?
Not sure, but I would like to watch that anime to see whats all about. It seems interesting.

But the anime doesn’t seem terrible.
I saw it. It was terrible. Without the slightest shred of hyperbole, it was The Worse Anime Movie. Ever. If you want to hear some random guy babble about religion for twenty minutes to a backdrop of crappy CG angels and soaring music, interspersed with inexplicable attacks on Tokyo by vaguely evil forces, go nuts, though.
saw the trailer its a good anime give about 5 out of 10.
This is propaganda for a “new religion” (my Japanese wife used the word “cult”) called ” Happy Science” (really). If one doesn’t see the irony in a title — I mean Buddha escaped the cycle of birth and death; how can he be reborn?
