Japan is probably the country that produces Robots in the world…Just yesterday, They unveiled a new model called Ropid!

ropidRobo Garage, a venture company supported by Kyoto University, unveiled a new humanoid robot on Tuesday that can jump quickly and land on its feet.

The 38-centimeter-high and 1.6-kilogram robot, dubbed “Ropid,” was developed by the company’s president, 34-year-old Tomotaka Takahashi, over two and a half years. Boasting the highest jumping ability among humanoid robots, the Ropid can quickly bend its knees and ankles and jump to a height of eight centimeters using a built-in belt that links its joints.

The robot also contains a voice-recognition system in its head. Nodding to the instruction “Kaishi” (start), the Robid bent down, jumped and landed perfectly during the press preview on Tuesday.
