This is the thing I like, when Japan Stores looks for potential buyers overseas. AmiAmi joins the trend and open their doors for overseas buyers with an english version of their well known online store.

amiami

You can visit them but there are quite some things to know before you register and buy

  • Paypal Payments only
  • EMS Shipping
  • Preorder cancellation is NOT allowed!
  • Processing is done during office hours only on weekdays
  • Some items are strictly for sale and use in Japan only so that means you cant get it
  • They sell some stuff that you wont find somewhere else

AmiAmi is a good and well known store that joins the rest of the crop (Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan or Jlist.) It is a great day for Otaku…with money.

The only thing that annoys me about the site is how you have to commit to an order without getting an actual shipping quote first. What’s up with that?

No SAL or Airmail shipping is a big letdown for me. I’ll stick with HLJ…
