It seems Suzumiya Haruhi´s official website confirms the date for Disappearance and not only that…

nagatowhat

The long awaited movie will last about 150 minutes…That´s about 2 hours and a half minutes…or around 7-8 episodes! Do you believe this is enough time to cover the entire arc, Haruhi fans are waiting for? Lets hope so because it has been…and still a long wait.

Thanks to ultimatemegax for the tip. / Image source

The amount of 8 episodes you say that could be another endless eight,
    Nah………..

The plot for Disappearance was quite entertaining when I read it in the novel, which reminds me of some tv shows/movies with the same (but not quite) plot.

Human Yuki does looks better than her “normal” self.

That’s awesome news! I’m glad they’re going to make it a very long movie. I think that should be enough time to make a good adaptation of the novel, even if they have to leave out some minor things.

Woah, 2,5 hours? Sure hope they manage to keep the pace with it being that long …. and realising that if they do manage it, 2,5 hours will seems (to) short.

I reckon 2.5 hours is a bit long, but we’ll see…I wanna see Yuki smile.
