Haruhi Endless Eight Film Strips…yes, FILM STRIPS!

Kadokawa will do almost ANYTHING to sell those Endless Eight DVD´s!…They even included film strips…yes, FILM STRIPS! I really wonder if this film strips are customized specifically for the Endless Eight DVDs or if they really broadcast this arc using film on TV!? (I dont think so, but who knows)…or maybe, They are trying to imitate the success of Evangelion 1.01. I can still remember how much I paid for a Rei Ayanami film strip…but this is Endless Eight We are talking about!
Just found only one for now on Yahoo Auctions Japan…for a “cheap” price…around 1,100 yen! There are not many film strips for auction on Yahoo…Maybe fans dont want to sell those because I think it is one of the few things that are really worth it…unless, it is a crappy scene or something!
I read the Beta Waffle Blog where DiGiKerot bought the Endless Eight DVD and got THIS…It is just terrible!…It is not even Yuki Nagato´s hand!
When I saw those Evangelion 1.01 film strips, I knew that I was willing to spend big bucks for one, especially of Ayanami Rei…I don´t think this inspires me too much…unless it is Haruhi or Nagato wearing a Bikini!

These are the “special favors” included in the DVDs for this season. Each DVD has a random chance at having one included. I’ve got two of them (one with Endless Eight I&II and one with Endless Eight VI and VII). There are some people selling the Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody ones on Yahoo Japan auctions, and I’ve seen a couple of the OP and ED as well. Alas, I do not have my camera with me (on a trip at the moment, but I will upload my pictures whenever I arrive home tomorrow).

I wonder how you got them? I want Haruhi or Nagato on a Bikini!!!

I ordered all the DVDs from this season since they have English subtitles and the likelihood of a R1 release is low. I got the Kozumi (the one that is a bit dark since it’s from the first discussion of the loop) one from the first Endless Eight DVD and the second one (of Kyon and Kozumi) from the latest one where they are discussing the “I Ruv You” idea in E8 VI. It’s really random on if you get one or what scene you get. I remember seeing a Nagato from Endless Eight III in a swimsuit for sale last month from E8 III and a group shot from this past DVD, but no other scenes from the swimming pool so far. What’s really valuable is the ones from the OP or ED that are randomly inserted in. If I get one of those, I will find a way to get a clear picture just to brag.
