Buy your own Japanese Island!

If you have TONS of yen to burn, maybe, you could buy your OWN Japanese Island!

The Chugoku Local Finance Bureau revealed that it is planning to sell off the Japanese government-owned and uninhabited Mitsuko Island in the Seto Inland Sea, about a kilometer off the coast of Hiroshima Prefecture. The competitive bid sale will be a first.

The sale is part of an overall program to sell off unused assets, and the finance bureau is scheduled to hold a tender for the island in February.

Mitsuko Island is made up of two islands to the southwest of the city of Kure. Up for sale is the northern island and its 7,600 square meters of real estate. Before World War II, there was a naval hospital on the island, but it is now home to nothing but weeds and trees.

Not exactly a big deal…We still need to know how much is the price for this island, full of weeds and trees…If I had the money, I could buy this island, only if it is filled with trees AND women! You probably heard of islands filled with Women right?
