Hare Hare Yukai a la FIGMA

With the release of the last SOS Brigade member by Max Factory / Figma, many anime fans can recreate now the allmighty dance that was exposed several times on sites like YOUTUBE and Anime Blogs.

Each FIGMA figure of the Haruhi Clan has several joints that can help people recreate the Hare Hare Yukai dance.  The price for each figure is around $24.35 USD; €19.42 Euros ;2381Yen so multiply that by 5. Thats not a lot of money considering that you can buy one 1/6 figure for that amount. Of course, the FIGMA figures are relatively small, but the wide range of movements and the add-ons that comes with the figures represents a great value.

Now with this said, check out one of the first attempts to recreate the Hare Hare Yukai dance made by a fan.

Of course it not perfect. If you notice the advertising and the fan video, the difference between both of them is the amount of frames used. To make the animation look more natural, it requires several frames especially for stop motion animation. Around 24 frames per second…The other thing is the lighting. You can barely see the animation and the characters moving…But I must say, it is a nice try and I hope to see more improved videos of this in the future.

Probably I could buy the whole bunch and do it myself.

Another Life Size Ayanami Rei. However, she looks nice here!

I always hang around in Yahoo Auctions and this figure got my attention.  This is such a nice Ayanami Rei figure and her size is virtually 1:1 scale (160 cm). I think it is the first time I see a life size figure of Rei with her plugsuit. Her price tag is well, as her size….huge….You can take her home if you have 330,000 yen ($3,112.97 USD) to spare… without the shipping charges…Everything on her looks good, except her price tag, but I must admit something…If I had the money, I will probably buy her. That figure could grab anyone´s attention in an anime convention.

Preview: Lineage II Human Mage Figure

Oh My God!…I was expecting this figure since I saw it but never thought it was this gorgeous. Since the release of the Dark Elf Figure (I got her btw) I was hoping to see another figure from Lineage II. Good Smile saw the potential and release another Figure…The Human Mage…Delight your eyes with the photos below.

Original illustration appears on the Lineage II:The ARK illustration book and Yoshimasa Nakao is the producer of this figure. Good Smile will release her in November and will cost around 6,477 yen  (59.24 USD  / 38.69 Euros)…Scale is 1/8 (220mm)…My wallet is growing thin by the minute.

Finally Freeing has come full circle with the release of Ryoko Asakura, one of the characters from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Unless they release a Kyon figure on Bunny Suit…(Thats an scary thought)…Probably a KYONKO figure could be better. Check the pictures below for more delicious details on this figure.

Scale Size for this figure is 1/4. The price tag for this figure is around ￥11.238 and release date is in September, 2008!…You better begin to save money for this. I already have three figures (SOS Brigade) from FREEING. Probably, just probably, this could be my fourth. I wonder if she has the knife as well?! You can reserve / preorder this figure on the usual japanese online stores now.
