For fans of Japanese cuisine, there is a new recipe, thanks to Francis, The Dog! This time, for hot summer nights, there is Green Tea Ice Cream!

Ingredients for Green Tea Ice Cream
(400ml/1.69 u.s. cup)200ml Milk (0.702 u.s. cup)
60g Brown Sugar/Refined Sugar (2.12 oz)
1 1/2 tbsp Matcha – Green Tea Powder
100ml Whipping Cream 36% fat (3.38 fl. oz)Ingredients for Green Tea Ice Cream Parfait
(serves 1)Green Tea Ice Cream
10g Brown Rice Flakes (0.353 oz)
30g Premade Anko (1.06 oz)
3 Shiratama Dango
Whipped Cream
Caramel Sauce- Shiratama Dango (18 pieces) -
50g Shiratamako – Glutinous Rice Powder (1.76 oz)

This week, Cooking with Dog presents “How to make yakitori” For a change, this post features Asuka in an Apron…I wonder…Do you want something cooked by Asuka?…I do!

I am amazed how the original author recreated that scene that many Otakus would love to see in real life!
Ingredients for Yakitori
(serves 2)300g Chicken (0.661 lb.)
12 Shishito Peppers
1 Spring Onion
2 Shiitake MushroomsSalt
1/4 Lemon
Seven Flavor Chili Pepper
3 Shiso Leaves- Yakitori Sauce -
100ml Soy Sauce (3.38 fl. oz)
100ml Sake (3.38 fl. oz)
3 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Honey
1 clove of Garlic** The yakitori sauce can be stored in a fridge and reheated for reuse. The dipping process helps bring out the flavour of the sauce everytime repeated.

Cooking with Francis, The Dog bring us another cool japanese dish…This time, it is noodle time!…More specifically, How to Make Hiyashi Chuka Noodles!

Ingredients for Hiyashi Chuka
(serves 2)2 bags of Hiyashi Chuka Noodles
1 tsp Sesame Oil
4 slices of Ham
1 Egg
A pinch of Salt
1 tbsp Water
1 tsp Potato Starch
1/2 Tomato
1 Cucumber
1 pack of Broccoli Sprouts
6 Frozen Boiled Shrimps
Toasted White Sesame Seeds- Lemon Soy Sauce -
100ml Hot Water (3.38 fl. oz)
1/2 tsp Torigara Soup Base – Powdered Chicken Soup Base
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Sesame Oil
Karashi – Japanese Hot Mustard- Sesame Sauce -
1 1/2 tbsp Sesame Paste
1 1/2 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
50ml Water (1.76 fl. oz)
1 Spring Onion
1/2 tbsp Chopped Ginger
1 tsp Sesame Oil

Time to learn how to cook another delicious dish, Thank to Francis…The Dog! The main dish for the week is Yaki Gyoza…or Fried Dumplings!…As usual, lets begin…

Ingredients for Yaki Gyoza
(25 pieces)120g Ground Pork (4.23 oz)
100g Cabbage (3.53 oz)
50g Onion (1.76 oz)
50g Nira – Garlic Chives (1.76 oz)- Condiments -
1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Sugar
A pinch of Pepper
1 tbsp Sake
1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Potato Starch
1 tsp Grated Garlic
1/2 tsp Grated Ginger
1/2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
or 1 tsp Chinese Soup Base25 Gyoza Skins
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
Flour for dusting- Gyoza Sauce -
1 tbsp Black/White Vinegar
1 tsp Soy Sauce
