Two Japanese boys did the “smart” thing…They stole a purse and went into a gaming spree…

Police took two boys, aged 10 and 13, into custody Tuesday for snatching a purse containing 100,000 yen in cash from a 66-year-old woman.

They blew the money on a gaming spree in Sapporo, police said.

The two cousins–a second-year junior high school student and a fourth-grade elementary school pupil here–grabbed the woman’s bag as they rode double on a bicycle, police said.

The two told police they targeted an older woman because they figured it would be easier to steal from a senior citizen.

Afterward, the two went to Sapporo, about 130 kilometers away, and spent the money on games at amusement centers, moving from one to another by hopping into taxis.

Guess this boys will get a good spank now…and if They behave from now on, They could get a Playstation or something.

I think this man will never get a girlfriend, with that kind of attitude…

Police said Friday they have arrested a 38-year-old man for allegedly slashing a woman, 30, with a bladed weapon in Higashi-Osaka on Thursday night. The woman suffered minor injuries.

According to police, Akihito Naito was not acquainted with the woman. He was quoted as saying, “I can’t get a girlfriend because women always turn me down. I thought this would make me feel better. I didn’t target any specific woman. Anyone would have been OK.”

Naito reportedly approached the woman, who was chatting with a co-worker, on his bike and cut her from behind. He then threw away his bike and ran away, but was caught by two passersby about 50 meters away. A box cutter was found nearby.

Someone should teach this man that you don’t get girlfriends with box cutters!

Shoplifting in Akihabara!

Some days ago, there were some interesting shoplifting cases in Japan. One of them was about a man that stole a Bass Guitar in East Utsonomiya. I wonder if the theft was K-ON related. Shoplifting in Akihabara seems to increase and Shop Owners made some interesting ads to warn potential shoplifters. Many of the ads featured have some well known anime characters.

´shop0
Crime does not pay!

Saber is here to remind that!

shop2

Stop…or I will track you to the end of the world!

shop3

Bright Noa will punish you!

I doubt this ads will actually stop shoplifting, but it is amusing how they remind us of times We are living now.

OSAKA — Police on Friday arrested a 27-year-old man for abusing his 29-year-old girlfriend’s 6-year-old son by dripping burning candle wax on him. The boy has several burns and other injuries all over his body, police said.

Yusuke Kurumada was arrested for allegedly placing a burning candle against the buttocks of the boy at their apartment in Ibaraki City, Osaka, where the three live together, on the morning of Jan 22.

Kurumada was quoted by police as saying he got angry about the boy’s bed wetting. He told police he used a candle from the boy’s birthday party held the previous day.

Police said they received information on Jan 29 that the boy has been burned on a daily basis, but wouldn’t reveal the source of the information. The boy is currently staying at a government-run facility, police said.
