Cosplays that caught my eye: Evangelion’s Makinami Mari Illustrious!
It has been a long time since I wrote about a cosplay that caught my eye! It is that time and this cosplay sure caught my attention. Evangelion 2.0 famous new character, Makinami Mari Illustrious, cosplayed by Chamaro!
I think She captured her looks and personality pretty well, at least in my humble opinion. Even in one of the photos, Chamaro recreates an scene from Evangelion 2.0, doing the orz pose!

Evangelion 2.0: Second full CAM version!
For the sake of Evangelion fans who wants to know more about the second movie of Evangelion, here are some interesting news and some thoughts after the following image. See for yourself and be the judge… 
Oh God!…Shinji scene was replaced…with ASUKA!…and there is a head in front of the screen, besides all the beer cans…
There is another CAM version of the Evangelion 2.0 movie. This time, it is the full movie and not the infamous version with only the last 26 minutes of it. Of course, I am sure time will deliver something better, if you know what I mean.
Evangelion 2.0: Asuka thoughts on her bed!
Found this nice vector image of Shikinami Asuka Langley and I am sure this scene is from Evangelion 2.0. It probably took lots of effort to vector this from a really tiny image.
The thing that really grabbed my attention besides the detail on this image is Asuka’s expression. She has this “look”in her eyes and invites the viewer to try and guess what are her thoughts. Thumbs up to the original author of this nice vector!

Evangelion 2.0 English Translation Project!
Evangelion has lots of fans in Japan and overseas. Now that the Evangelion 2.0 movie is out in Japan theaters and “partially” on the internet, it will take some time to see an official release on DVD and BLURAY. However, some fans are taking the initiative to do an interesting project with the Evangelion movie. It is called roe2wade!
roe2wade is a project to translate and annotate Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance. This project is anticipated to last roughly until August 2nd, 2009, by which time an official English subtitled version will have been presented at the Animotion Film Festival in Bonn, Germany, obsoleting roe2wade.
They have some resources to translate the movie, including the CAM version, Ongoing transcription works by 2chan and Full transcripts. Right now, they are looking for members and volunteers to join.
