Hello Kitty LCD TV!
Hello Kitty is everywhere! Not a surprise that the Kitty will be featured as an LCD TV…Unfortunately, it is only for Japan…for now!

Hello Kitty products can be found in an overabundance at times in Japan. It seems these days that any household product can be purchased with Kitty’s face on it. The introduction of the DY-133KT, a Hello Kitty LCD TV, on Dec. 11th truly adds to that list.
Technically, the DY-133KT is a 13.3-inch widescreen, high-vision LCD TV built by Dynaconnective Co. and licensed from Sanrio Co. According to Dynaconnective, the TV has both digital and analog connections, as well as S-Video, D4-terminal (for Japanese TV accessories), headphone jacks, and PC connection inputs. The TV also has LCD backlighting capability. If hooked up to a computer, the Hello Kitty TV can double as a monitor with a 1,280 x 800 display.
The DY-133KT is constructed in the shape of Kitty’s head and comes with a ribbon-shaped remote control that features a “Kitty” button. That button, when pushed, causes the TV to briefly display Kitty’s full face, surely completing the Hello Kitty experience for fans.
Reportedly consuming up to 31 kWh/year, the Hello Kitty TV has been well-rated for energy efficiency.
The Hello Kitty TV does come with a bit of a price tag, Sanrio say it will begin being sold in country on Dec. 24th for ¥49,800, which is currently around $560 USD. Christmas shoppers in Japan do not have to worry though; preorders are being taken from Dec.12 to the 21st.
Sadly for international Kitty fans, the Hello Kitty TV is designed exclusively for a Japan audience. While the it does have PC connection capabilities, the menu interface is in Japanese and the hardware would likely require some altering to make it work properly as a TV abroad.

This TV sure is for hard core fans of Hello Kitty. Probably I would be too distracted watching that kitty, instead of watching the TV programming.
Akina Minami, The Hello Kitty model!
Famous Japanese fashion model and gravure idol Akina Minami seems to like the Kitty fashion this days…

Akina Minami, 20, made an appearance at the Laforet Limited Collection fashion show at Harajuku’s Laforet Museum this week in front of a cheering crowd. Minami wore a special Hello Kitty and LaForet Harajuku collaboration outfit, complete with a frilly pink mini skirt and ears, to celebrate the character’s 35th anniversary.
Kitty-chan herself also took the stage in a surprise appearance, to which Akina chirped, “She’s so adorable!!” Minami, who turns 20 next May, reflected on her summer memories from this year and commented ambivalently, “I wanted to hang out with my friends and go to the sea, to festivals, but instead I put a lot of effort into working.”

As She said, Hello Kitty is “adorable”…but that could apply to Akina Minami as well…
Xbox 360 and Hello Kitty pimp my car!
Oddee offers an interesting article about the 12 Craziest Pimped Car Interiors. Some of the cars there are really cool while others are bizarre. The two cars I will describe next are somehow…in the middle.
First, let´s see the Xbox 360 car…A gamers dream come true…sort of.

This is a concept car from Suzuki. The original car was made way back in ‘06, and it was not made by some random Halo obsessed Xbox man-child with technical car modification prowess. (Link)

You could play Need for Speed…for real!

Chick magnet…or Geek magnet?
The next car was pimped with Hello Kitty designs. Unfortunately, We dont have the exteriors of the car, but the interior…Well, just look at it:

Hello Kitty, Kitty, Kitty…Notice the steering wheel! (Link)
If you could pimp your car, What would you do?…Probably someday, your car will be featured on the internet.
