I normally don’t admit this, but I love K-On!! I’m not sure why I love it so much. Slice of life is a genre I typically avoid, but there’s something special about this show. The music is top notch, also they play real instruments! Fenders, Gibson’s you name it! The production value is amazing.
So now that I’ve exposed myself as a K-On fanboy, I’m happy to announce that the new opening and closing songs (the ones that premiered in episode 14) will be released in Japan on August, 4th! Both will run you 1,260 yen plus tax or $14.48 U.S. dollars (plus import fees and shipping). The album art and tracklists are below.
Opening Theme: “Utauyo!! MIRACLE”
1. Utauyo!! MIRACLE
2. Glitter Days
3. Utauyo!! MIRACLE (Instrumental)
4. Sparkling Days (Instrumental)
Ending Theme: “NO, Thank You!”
1. No, Thank You!
2. Girls in Wonderland
3. NO, Thank You! (Instrumental)
4. Girls in Wonderland (Instrumental)

Nakano Asuza…The Eva Pilot!
One cool thing about some figures in the market is that you can change some heads and bodies to create interesting crossovers…If you dont believe me, take a look at Nakano Asuza from K-ON. Here is this interesting figure, courtesy of Wave…
This nice figure comes with two facial expressions…but if you have several bodies and heads, you can play the role of Dr. Frankenstein…to say the least…For example, you can turn lovely Nakano Asuza into an Eva pilot!…
Sweet!…Now, If you wonder how a crossover between K-ON and Evangelion would look like?…Here is a nice tip for it….
