NICE BOAT, Part VI!
I lost track of how many times the creators of School Days, Overflow, delayed the launch of their precious new game, Cross Days…However, Sankaku Complex reminded me the number of times…and you may wonder, Why I am wasting bandwidth and effort to do a post about it?…Well, I have nothing better to post for now…and I am also frustrated again!
It seems Overflow delayed ONE more time the launch of the game and I really wonder what the hell, the marketing department are thinking about this. If they are not sure when They are going to release it, DON´T mention it…Or do a deadline graph before stating a release date, because I am really sure the stockholders and School Days fans are getting tired of it…and frankly, I am getting tired too!
The game was originally scheduled for 27/2/2009, but then, the delays began from 24/4/2009, 26/6/2009, 20/11/2009, 18/12/2009, 29/1/2010 and now the new release date is 19/3/2010!
I am not sure what is worst now…Endless Eight or Cross Days?…I think the latter get the prize!
Cross Days…What was that again?
Probably this is one of the most delayed games to be released in history that I almost forgot about it. Overflow is delaying the long awaited game in their history, Cross Days! Last time I remember, They delayed the launch of the game on April 2009…and now, They are planning to release the game on November…I wonder whats next? 2012? I think this is the third time They delay it…or it was the fourth?
According to their latest official announcement, Overflow is delaying the game release because They want to make sure about the quality of the game and need MORE time to evaluate it before the official release. They apologize to their fans so many times… How much time they need?? It is almost a year for crying out loud!
They must be doing a hell of a job to program that game. Well, it is not surprising as many can remember, their early games (School Days and Summer Days) had this huge bugs that forced Overflow to release patches to cover them…and I am sure the experience was really traumatic because of the GIGA size of those patches…It was just ridiculous.
What are my expectations for this game? Very low at this point…so low that I almost forgot about it, but I remembered because this is after all…a filler post for the game section!…How pathetic that can be?

Last year, Overflow surprised fans with Sekai Days! This time, it is Kotonoha´s turn as She has her own game called “Kotonohasama Days” Unfortunately, this announcement was made on April 1st and I am sure you know what that means right?
The only cool thing about this is that Overflow seems to take April´s fool seriously because of all the effort taken with their prank video jokes. There is a surprise at the end of the video (less orz than Taisuke Days by the way)…Kotonoha´s child with Makoto!…Kotonari!
In a side note, Cross Days was delayed again…Remember the last time it was delayed?
Cross Days will be released on June 26 instead of April 24, 2009! The video above shows the announcement.I wondered what happened this time…I hope the April´s fool joke is NOT the reason for the delay.
Also, I went to their Kotonoha sama Days website but it was removed because it is April 2nd in Japan. I got the video but it seems there is a wallpaper included with a zip file and it is password protected. I wonder if anyone managed to grab it and unzipped it? I hope so.
My wife loves soap operas so I gave her School Days!

My wife loves soap operas so she watch them every night after coming from work. One night she asked me if I have something good so She doesn’t feel bored. Her favorite series was over after a long three month run. I told my wife: Well, I have this series called School Days. Have lots of drama, like your soaps!
Hmm, Ok, she told me…Let`s watch it! I must admit that She does not like too much anime and thinks that is just for kids.
After the first episode, She was like: Oh, an anime…Well, there`s nothing to watch anyway…Who is He? Is he a good person?
“He is Makoto!” I told her…and that`s the only answer I gave her after those questions.
After watching about five episodes She wanted more but it was around 2:00 a.m. so I told her, lets go to sleep…
But I want to watch more…How does it ends?
Hmm, if I tell you how it ends, I will spoil it for you…Let`s continue tomorrow…So We went to bed and sleep. She slept with doubts about how it will end…I just slept with a silly smirk in my face.
